Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists with patient care, including mobility exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Provide personalized in-home support to patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, observe their progress, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, both in the clinic and in home care settings.
- Assist with medication reminders and other healthcare-related tasks as directed.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and positive relationships with patients, their families, and colleagues.
- Accurately document patient care and progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum six months of relevant experience in patient care.
- Relevant certification or diploma in nursing assistance or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic English language skills (bilingual or multilingual skills are an advantage).
- Ability to use basic technology for documentation and communication.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug test.
